Meet our 1st Student Cohort

The 1st student cohort is comprised of 18 Master students, of which 12 are female and 6 are male. Three PhD studenrts are also part of the 1st cohort. They come from a variety of West and East African countries, including Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Guinea, Kenya, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Togo and Uganda.

With the training in the existing master programs at ICCA and CEA-CCBAD, topped up with courses offered by AFAS in the fields of soft skills, Nature-based Solutions (NbS) and SPPIs, the graduates qualify for the local and international employment market in the areas of climate protection and environmental conservation.
